How are the socks washed?
Washing instructions for socks of wool and silk:
- Machine wash (gentle) – If you choose to machine wash, use a gentle program for wool and silk, and ensure the temperature does not exceed 30 degrees. Optionally use a washing bag for extra protection.
- No fabric softener – Fabric softener can damage both wool and silk, so avoid this to preserve the fibres.
- Drying – The socks must not be tumble dried. Lay them flat on a towel and let them air dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, which can cause them to lose shape and colour.
- Storage – To preserve the shape of the socks and avoid moths, it is recommended to store them folded in a dry place.
- Hand wash – To best preserve quality, you can wash the socks by hand. Use lukewarm water (max. 30 degrees) and a mild wool or silk soap.
