Are you unsure which Curl Band to choose?
There are now a number of suppliers of heatless curling ribbons, also called Curl Bands. You may be unsure which variant to choose, which is precisely why you should read on here. Essentially, Curl Bands are (most often) made of either satin or silk. With the naked eye, it can be difficult to spot the difference between the two materials, but nonetheless, it is worth knowing about.

Silk or Satin?
Silk is a natural material made exclusively from silkworm cocoons. Silk's moisture-retaining properties help nourish the hair, preventing split ends and reducing other hair damage.
Satin, on the other hand, is a man-made product with a slightly rougher surface than silk. At the same time, satin does not have the same moisture-retaining properties as silk. Therefore, the risk of drying out your hair is higher with a satin Curl Band. If you want to protect your hair as much as possible and ensure that it retains the right moisture balance, silk is therefore the obvious choice.
Avoid cheap materials - they do more harm than good
Satin is also a less expensive material than silk, and Curl Bands made of satin are usually filled with a hard, foam-rubber-like material. This material is much harder to sleep on than a silk Curl Band filled with cotton wool. When a Curl Band is filled with a hard material, it is also more likely to come apart at the seams because of the additional pressure on them.
If you want to maintain an undisturbed night's sleep while also keeping your hair hydrated, a silk Curl Band is the best choice.

If you have a bob to medium-length hair - or simply fine hair - our Mini Curl Band is the best choice.
