How are the socks washed?
Durability and Care: These socks are made to last, and with proper care, they retain their quality and softness over time. Follow the care instructions to ensure you maximize their lifespan.
Washing instructions for wool and silk socks:
Hand wash – To best preserve quality, you can hand wash the socks. Use lukewarm water (max. 30 degrees) and a mild wool or silk detergent.
Machine wash (gentle) – If you choose to machine wash, use a gentle program for wool and silk, and ensure the temperature does not exceed 30 degrees. Use a laundry bag for extra protection.
No fabric softener – Fabric softener can damage both wool and silk, so avoid it to preserve the fibers.
Drying – The socks must not be tumble dried. Lay them flat on a towel and let them air dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, which can cause them to lose shape and color.
Storage – To preserve the shape of the socks and avoid moths, it is recommended to store them folded in a dry place.
NOTE: Always turn the socks inside out when washing.
