Baby silk bedding in 100% Mulberry silk
Create a soft and comfortable sleeping environment for your baby with our exclusive baby silk bedding, made from 100% Mulberry silk in 19 momme quality.
The set consists of a duvet cover and a pillowcase that feel lightweight, smooth, and comfortable against the skin. Silk’s naturally soft surface creates minimal friction, making this bedding an excellent choice for babies with delicate or sensitive skin.
Mulberry silk naturally regulates temperature and helps create a comfortable sleeping environment throughout the night. The material feels lightweight and cool when it is warm, and pleasantly warm when the temperature drops, making this silk bedding well suited to the Nordic climate.
Silk’s elegant sheen and timeless look add an exclusive and calming touch to the nursery. The duvet cover features internal ties that help keep the duvet in place.
The included silk pillowcase has a smooth surface that creates less friction against your child’s hair and skin than many traditional textiles. The silk pillowcase can also be purchased separately right here.

Properties of silk
Mulberry silk has a positive effect on both your skin and hair. The smooth silk fabric is less likely to absorb moisture from your skin, keeping it hydrated throughout the night. The same applies to your hair, where the silk helps maintain its natural moisture balance. By sleeping on silk, you can also avoid frizzy hair, which can potentially lead to split ends.
Silk is temperature-regulating
Silk also has temperature-regulating properties, ensuring that you stay at a comfortable temperature during the hot summer heat. If you struggle with sleep problems due to hot nights, itching, or dry skin, silk is therefore ideal for you. In addition, silk is known to be anti-allergenic, making it an obvious choice if you have allergies or suffer from asthma.
OEKO-TEX certified
This product is made of mulberry silk and certified by OEKO-TEX, guaranteeing that the textile has been tested for harmful substances and is therefore harmless to your health.
How do you wash silk?
- Preparation: Start by turning your silk bedding inside out and closing the zipper. A laundry bag is also recommended.
- Separation: Keep your silk bedding separate from other textiles, especially those with sharp zippers or hard materials that could scratch the silk.
- Temperature: Use cold water to wash silk bedding. Hot water can damage the fibers and cause shrinkage or color loss.
- Mild detergent: Use a mild detergent intended for delicate fabrics. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the silk.
- Hand wash or delicate cycle: You can either hand wash the silk bedding or use a delicate cycle in your washing machine. If you use a washing machine, choose a gentle program with a low spin speed to avoid stretching or damaging the fabric.
- Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. You can repeat the rinse several times to ensure that all the soap is gone.
- Drying: Avoid wringing or stretching the silk bedding while drying. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water and then let it air-dry on a flat surface or hang it on a hanger. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause discoloration.
- Ironing: If necessary, you can iron your silk bedding on low heat, preferably inside out to avoid direct contact with the heat.
With these steps, you can easily keep your silk bedding clean and in good condition!

Quality without compromise
Our silk bedding proudly bears the OEKO-TEX certification as a symbol of our commitment to providing our customers with products that are not only luxurious but also safe.

Established in 2020 with an office in Østerbro, Copenhagen
Cillouettes is a Danish silk universe
Cillouettes was founded after several of our acquaintances and friends' acquaintances had struggled with atopic skin, placing high demands on the textiles that come into contact with the skin. Silk, in particular, is a textile that the skin has always responded especially well to.
In recent years, people have become aware of the many other benefits silk provides. Temperature-regulating, antibacterial and hypoallergenic effects - just to mention a small selection. At Cillouettes, we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience these benefits.
