At Cillouettes, we have a fixed collaboration with our supplier, who produces the raw materials for mulberry silk. Then we use our own seamstress who produces our different styles.
Through the few links between the raw material producer and Cillouettes, it is ensured that we can always be sure that all products have the same high quality.

Close cooperation with farmers
All silk is produced by farmers specializing in silk production. The close cooperation with local farmers ensures that we get the highest quality of long-stranded silk cocoons.

The quality of silk
The quality of silk is measured in momme, which is a unit of weight for silk. A higher momme means the silk is woven more densely. Silk bedding and clothing are recommended to have a density between 16-19 momme. If the silk is too dense, the result is stitching that is too tight, which is not breathable, and therefore becomes incredibly warm.

Our mulberry silk is always 100% pure without additives such as polyester.
Genuine silk gives a soft and smooth feeling that can never be achieved with alternative products.
